Review: Femme Couture Eye Drama Glitter Eye Pencil

Price: These pencils are regularly $3.99 USD at Sally stores and on their website.

Packaging: The pencil outside is pretty ordinary except for the inch long glittered piece at the end. The glitter color matches that of the pencil, but unfortunately is a separate endcap and contains no product (making it seem like you get more liner than you actually do).

Ingredients: An ingredients list can be found on a sticker on the cap in incredibly tiny print, as well as on Sally’s website. The list does change depending on which color pencil you look at; for the teal, it is as follows:

The Product:

When swatched on my hand, the pencil actually went on pretty smooth. The color was a bit more dull than I had hoped for, and the glitter was just basic silver (the end cap is covered in turquoise glitter; couldn’t something be worked out?), but not bad.

On my eye, however, I found a little bit of tug. But the bigger problem was the opacity; what I thought looked nice and opaque on the back of my hand certainly didn’t happen on my eyelid, even with multiple passes, and you can forget about it happening on the waterline!

Final Thoughts:

• Was I happy with this product? Not really.
• Would I purchase Femme Couture Eye Drama Glitter Eye Pencil again? No.
